While I'm still procrastinating on the second half of my Cuba blog, I will share another one of my favorite images for now from the trip. For this one, we were in Trinidad (no this wasn't taken in the rainforest of anything, this was at our Airbnb)...

Cuba is a hidden gem for American tourists. I say "hidden" because most people aren't aware of the ease of travel there from the states today. Traveling from NYC to Havana was almost no harder than traveling anywhere else in the world. I'm glad I took the opportunity to make this trip with some amazing people and I was able to capture so many incredible images that I have to split this up into 2 posts...

This shot was one of my more memorial images from Cuba. This was us coming back home after our first day exploring the city and we had to take two cabs back. The weather was perfect so we decided to both get convertible vintage cabs. If anyone plans on going to Cuba, this is a must for any tourist. Cruising through Havana with the top down in a 70yr old Chevy is a truly unique experience to this country...

I just got back from Cuba and I have an amazing collection of photos and I will do a blog or two on just the trip alone but in the meantime, I have to do a Photo Of The Week...

I dug this one up from the archives. This was from my trip to London last year and while looking through my folder of raw files, I found this one untouched...

Here is one more from my Florida trip the other week. Aside from being in Key West, we also wanted to take the epic drive out there from Miami so that's where we flew in and out of. On the last day, we spent the night in South Beach and I had a few images I wanted in mind. I never traveled with my drone before, so this was a first for me...

I shot this one in 2007 when I first started experimenting with long exposures. Although I lost the EXIF data on this photo, it was still clearly a long exposure. I took a road trip with a friend of mine from New Jersey to Miami to help him move into his new college dorm and we got to south Florida at night and made a pit stop in The Everglades where it was pitch black. Thats where I remember taking the first round of long exposures for this trip. It was fun being able to see stars in the sky in photos, this might have been the first time I've experienced that...
Read MoreColombia Part 2
Although I was injured, the first half of the trip was more skating oriented, the second half was more geared toward adventure and checking out the more beautiful side of Colombia. We began by meeting up with our friend Paulo in Rionegro and exploring some of his families former and current properties away from the major cities...
Read MoreColombia Part 1
The other day I got back from an amazing 3-week stint in Colombia with my good friend Jon Ortiz. After I landed in Medellin and was told we were leaving the next day for a week-long tour to a few different cities, I knew this trip was going to be non-stop. We spent days driving from city to city and I can honestly say that Colombia has one of the most scenic landscapes out of anywhere else I've been in the world...

I was fortunate enough to be somewhere super scenic for this weeks particular challenge. I struggled with week 2 since there wasn't much of a pretty landscape by me at the time. In this case, I'm in Guatape Colombia again where I was lucky enough to climb about 725 steps and get a birds eye view of the lake running through El Peñol...
