Last year, my girlfriend, Amanda, and I took a trip to London and Paris for her birthday. Since we're both always shooting photos wherever we go, we rarely get images of us together when we travel (plus my mom gets mad when we don't have pictures to show her). We started making it a trend to get at least one epic photo together throughout each of our adventures, this might have been the start of it but it didn't start out that way...Read More
I don't know if I have an all time favorite photographer but Vincent Laforet has been a huge influence on me. One aspect of his work that I go crazy over is his aerial photography, its simply unmatched compared to anyone else's aerial images. After seeing all of Vincent's work, I've always wanted to go shoot from a helicopter and after following certain accounts on instagram over the years, I've had the urge to fly over the buildings in NYC. 2015 is the year for me to do as many new things and go to as many new places as possible, sRead More
A few months ago I posted a few 35mm negatives that I scanned with my DSLR. Since then, a lot of people have been asking me about how I go about doing this, and I've seen a few different DIYs about it, but I feel like mine is the most simple to use.
The original post I saw was an older article from Petapixel, which has an excellent explanation about the post processing involved. As far as the rig they used, I feel like I have an easier solution.Read More
It seems like nowadays between music, technology, fashion, sports, it seems like everything has been done. Its 2015 now, and everyone wants a way to stand out; individuality is of the essence.

A little over a year ago, Skatelife.tv put out an article about me on what was probably my proudest piece of work in skating. It was something that has never been done before, and something that Shawn Engler (Of Skatelife) and myself have had on our minds for a while; A skate article of myself, by myself. The idea was simple, I skate, I shoot the photos with a wireless trigger. I explain more about it in the actual article, but it was a challenge I was anxious to tackle.
Here are a couple of B-Roll photos that didn't make the cut:Read More
Amanda started vlogging the other week, and she had a crazy idea to make a vlog about doing laundry. She wanted to put a twist on it though so she decided to turn the laundromat into a studio and have a photo shoot while waiting for her clothes. After getting denied shooting photos from the first two laundromats, we found a winner.
I admit, I doubted it at first, but it was actually pretty fun and I got some cool photos out of it too. Check out some of the images and her vlog below:
