For years now, I've been looking at the Lexar Hub to efficiently transfer multiple SD cards to my iMac. The reason I never pulled the trigger was that it seemed like it was a bit much. The Lexar hub is pretty large and it requires its own power source which is an inconvenience while traveling and having to back up cards on your laptop. I think I finally found the solution!

I spent a longggg week in Las Vegas with FlyNYON to gather as much content as possible and to take over the Life Is Beautiful Festival. During this trip, I took many, many open door helicopter flights around the city and dessert. I honestly didn't think I would be too impressed but It was refreshing and exciting to get this perspective on a new city since I'm so used to New York...
Read MoreTear Sheets - ONE Magazine Take 5
These "Take 5" and similar style articles in magazines were always one of my favorites because they get to help you know a person with just a few quick lines. Looking back at these older articles always helps me reference a certain time of my life and I get to see how I've changed/ grown since then. This tear sheet from ONE Magazine, in 2014, is only a few years old, but I can already remember how much has changed from just 3 years ago...

I've flown in helicopters many times above NYC, usually around the 1,000 to 1,500ft altitude, but I was lucky enough to be taken to another level the other day. As photographers or artists, we find ourselves in a state of repetition more often then we would like to admit. For me, I often photograph a lot of Downtown Manhattan since it's easy for me to get around on my bike and I often fly over with FlyNYON. Since the Freedom Tower sticks out like a sore thumb, I'm constantly getting new perspectives on it...

When flying with FlyNYON, it's relatively easy to get yourself great photos of one of the best cities in the world. It's easy to just snap around at whatever you're looking at which is mainly the breathtaking views of the New York City skyline from above. These photos typically WOW people and are unique to add to your portfolio or Instagram profile, but they usually lack the perspective aspect of this type of photography...

Staten Island is known mostly for having the Staten Island Ferry which is a free ferry boat that commutes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week back and forth from Staten Island and Manhattan. It's a big tourist attraction since it's free and also has great views of downtown Manhattan and the Statue Of Liberty. For many, many years I've skated this part of the Island and especially the Staten Island Yankee Stadium which offers this view of lower Manhattan as well but I somehow never noticed how far back the view reached...

Like the title? Sounded like a rap lyrics, didn't it??? Everyone knows the best time to shoot photos is golden hour, or right when the sun is about to set. From 1,500ft in the air though it's a similar story, but on another level...
